EduART is a US based tax-exempt corporation operating under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. EduART, Inc. seeks to use both creative and performing arts to educate, enrich and entertain both Africans on the continent and African immigrants in the U.S.A on varied social and economic developmental issues in order to increase a productive lifestyle. EduArt will also use these artistic media to educate non-Africans on African values, cultural heritage and social lifestyle to facilitate tolerance in the community.
WHAT WE DO
- Promoting creative writing by Africans who use creative writing as a platform to address and seek solutions to socio-economic-political problems within their given communities.
- Organization of various artistic diversity programs within the community to provide opportunities for different cultures to interact.
- Organization of educative artistic performances in public spaces, schools and to relevant groups of people in the designated community particularly to children, young people and women.
- Organization of cultural exchange summer camps to facilitate racial and ethnic integration within the community.
- Production of TV dramas, documentary films, feature films, workshops, conferences, seminars on diverse health, immigration, environmental and developmental issues.
- Research and writing of grant proposals on different projects.
- Creation of information resource center for the community.
- Exchange of ideas and resources with organizations having similar goals in the USA and other countries.
The organization has a worthy cause. They appeal to the needs of the community.
