I totally fear you! This was a great ceremony and I am soooo sorry I missed it. Thank you for doing this. Frankly, I should have been there even if I was just planning on disgracing myself with the food which, from this distance, looks absolutely delicious.
The entire event looks extremely well organised from the pictures - I would have further disgraced myself with the Dina Bell music. And Richard King has a lovely voice too.
I can only say that you and the rest of the EduArt team must continue showcasing local talent. This is philantropy at its best - who knows what all this outlay cost in terms of time and money?
Again, I am honoured to have won one of the prizes - I can't think why I of all people got it, but I am chuffed to bits that I did. I wish work had not interfered with my holiday plans but one is not yet able to live solely on one's writing.

Thanks Rosemary for your kind and encouraging words. We missed you at the Awards night. It was certainly an awesome evening and we were as happy as you are that all went well. Yes, you deserved the award. Your work stood out amongst an exciting pool of shotlisted fiction. I trust our readers will grab copies of all the shortlisted works and enjoy:

THE 2011 EDUART AWARD CEREMONY WAS A TOP CLASS EVENT BEGINNING FROM THE MOTIVE TO THE CHOICE OF VENUE TO THE DECORATION, FOOD AND TYPES OF AWARDS. WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL AS ARTISTS AND CAMEROONIANS TO YOU FOR LOOKING BACK HOME WITH SUCH LOVE AND CONCERN. Congratulations to all the winners of this prestigious awards night! It's kind of shameful that I missed this year's event. I do hope I could attend or watch next year's.
